Chris at the Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is absolutely amazing. It is impossible not to see God in his vastness through the Grand Canyon. We have been here a week, and I make a point to go see the Canyon at least once a day. A few of us guys have hiked a little on two different occasions, on two different trails. With the Canyon as big as it is, every single spot looks different.

I work with the Grand Canyon Baptist Church. All “church” groups meet in the same building, at different time slots. The National Park only allows a few hours a week for a church to meet in what is called the “Shrine of the Ages.” Therefore, the church literally is the body of people. They do not own a building. We have specific tasks depending on the day of the week. For example, we work with the youth who live in the Canyon on Thursdays.

A few things to pray about would be for me to be able to witness to my co-workers more. I am getting to know a lot of people. Although I am not aloud to bring up my faith on the job, I can answer questions if I am asked, so praying for that would be awesome.
